The renovation process doesn't need to be daunting

We’ve been in the industry for long enough to know the best way to tackle pretty much any renovation project. Our process makes it simple for you and makes sure you get the renovation you want without the stress.

1. Contact

Once you contact us we’ll assign a personal consultant to work with you. Your consultant will be happy to speak with you on the phone or alternately can create an appointment for a face to face discussion. We’re happy to work around what you need. Our consultations are free and you’re under no obligation to proceed but we’re sure you’ll be pleased with what we can offer.

2. Consultation

We’ll liaise with you to gain an understanding of what you want to achieve and step you through some of your options.

What’s involved? Who’s involved? Does your vision require consents? Let’s talk about choice! Smart Home Renovations would be pleased to offer advice and insight on the most effective methods to reach your goals. If need be, we’ll bring in trusted external specialists such as architects or draughtsman to liaise on the process. We’ll finalise your design, agree on a scope of work and then confirm a work plan. We’ll also step through you through a proposed schedule and our guarantee (where applicable).

3. Cost

In order to avoid unrealistic and unfair quotes or unwanted financial surprises, we’ll step you through the costs involved (based on your budget), schedule of delivery and also the contractor expectations. Once that’s complete, we’ll sign off the works contract.

4. Manage

And we’re off!

Smart Home Renovations assume the position as the main point of contact and the overall contract manager. We’ll keep you in the loop and completely informed every step of the way.

5. Deliver

Smart Home Renovations will source and confirm the required contractors from our shortlist of approved providers (all of whom have a reputation for excellence).

We’ll set up and maintain the work schedule, coordinate with multiple people, managing the day to day needs of a busy workforce. We’ll also manage the site safety requirements and ameliorate any problems including adjusting or rescheduling around the set program when inevitable issues arise. We’re here to make your life easier.

6. Complete

We’ll wrap up the site and settle any billing with contractors then we’ll sign off on the completed works before walking you through the framework of our robust aftercare program. We’ll maintain contact as an important part of our aftercare program. We also hope to remain your trusted advisor for any future renovation projects.
